About The Study

Depression can be difficult to manage, even when taking an antidepressant. Many people continue to feel symptoms such as low mood, fatigue, or loss of interest in daily activities. The OARS-7 clinical research study aims to learn more about an investigational medication that is added to a person’s current antidepressant to see how it may help.

Participants continue their usual SSRI or SNRI medication while receiving either the investigational medication or a placebo during the study. Through health evaluations, check-ins, and study visits, the research team gathers important information about safety, effectiveness, and duration of effect.

By taking part, you may help contribute to research that could support future understanding and treatment of depression.
