About the Study

Help us develop new medical tests for children.

The National Healthy Children Study is being conducted at Arizona State University. Children ages 4–17 across the United States are invited to take part — with everything completed from home.

Total participation takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes, spread across a few simple steps. No clinic visits are required.

What Participation Involves

Complete a short online application to get started.

Virtual consent meeting

Meet with the study team virtually to review consent.

Health questionnaires

Complete questionnaires about your child's health.

At-home sample collection

Collect samples at home following provided instructions.

Shipping samples

Ship the samples back using materials provided.

Participation is completely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time without affecting your child's care.

Who Can Participate?

Children ages 4–17 years across the US who meet the following criteria:

Are in good physical and mental health

Have no major neurological or genetic disorders

Have a parent/guardian able to provide consent and is fluent in English

Eligibility confirmed through online screening and questionnaires.

Compensation

Participants will receive compensation, prorated, based on the components completed.
