Project LINC is an observational study led by Dr. Rachel Gunn, Associate Professor at Brown University. The goal of Project LINC is to better understand how cannabis use interacts with alcohol treatment outcomes. The project is focused on adults with alcohol use disorder (AUD) who have recently begun outpatient treatment and also have a lifetime history of cannabis use.
As this study is observational only there is no experimental treatment being provided. Instead, participants will be asked about their experiences, and researchers will collect information that can help guide future treatment recommendations for patients who use both alcohol and cannabis.
Adults (18+) in outpatient alcohol treatment within the past 30 days.
Must have lifetime cannabis use and past simultaneous alcohol + cannabis use.
Not eligible if currently experiencing suicidal intent, mania, or psychosis.
