About The Study

Researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital are conducting a clinical research study for adults diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.

The purpose of this study is to better understand liver detoxification in individuals living with this condition. The study is conducted entirely remotely, allowing participants to take part from home through virtual visits and at-home nurse visits, while supporting important liver research.

Who Can Participate?
  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis
  • Have elevated alkaline phosphatase (ALP) levels
  • Do not have certain medical conditions that would prevent participation

What to Expect

Nine total study visits conducted remotely
Seven visits supported by in-home nursing through Wren Health Care
Collection of blood, stool, and urine samples during home visits
Participation over a 12-week study period
No in-person clinic visits required
Taking the medication 2x times daily & possible IV dose for group 3
