About The Study

Researchers at Imperial College London are conducting a study to better understand Alzheimer’s disease and how it affects the brain.

They are looking for people between the ages of 60 and 90 who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, or who have a close family member living with the condition.
The study involves a series of in-person visits to Hammersmith Hospital and includes procedures such as blood tests and brain scans.

The goal is to support future advancements in diagnosis and understanding of dementia.

Where does the study take place?

All visits will be held at Hammersmith Hospital in London, easily accessible via White City and East Acton Underground stations.

How long is the study?

You’ll attend between 6 and 8 in-person visits, scheduled based on your availability.

What documents do I need to provide?

If you are living with Alzheimer’s, you will need a letter from your GP or specialist confirming your diagnosis.

Can family members take part even if they do not have Alzheimer’s?

Yes. If you are a parent, sibling, or child of someone who has been formally diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, you may be eligible to participate as part of the family member group.
