About The Study

Are you a teen or young adult looking to make a difference while earning money? Researchers at The Ohio State University are conducting a nationwide study to better understand the health behaviors and attitudes of young people like you. Your participation can help shape the future of health research while rewarding you for your time.

Who Can Participate?

This study is open to:

  • Teens and young adults aged 13 - 25
  • U.S. residents with access to a smartphone, laptop, or similar device
  • Individuals willing to complete online and app-based surveys over two years

You don’t need to travel—everything is done online or through a mobile app, making it easy and convenient to participate no matter where you live in the U.S.

Step 1: Enrollment
  • Attend a 20-minute Zoom orientation session and complete a 30-minute online survey.
  • Earn $80 after completing these initial steps.
App-Based Surveys
  • Complete short, app-based surveys on your smartphone at three different points over two years.
  • Each survey week pays $70, for a total of $210.
Follow-Up Surveys

Answer brief follow-up surveys every six months over the two years:

  • 6 months: 10-minute survey ($30)
  • 12 months: 15-minute survey ($80)
  • 18 months: 10-minute survey ($30)
  • 24 months: 15-minute survey ($100)
