About the Study
Prevention Strategies and CliniContact are recruiting high schools to participate in a nationwide evaluation of a comprehensive tobacco prevention and cessation program for students.
This randomized controlled trial will test the impact of educational resources, peer leadership, and support tools to help students avoid or quit tobacco use.

- Peer-led and teacher-supported activities
- Focus on reducing tobacco and vape use, improving student knowledge and confidence

- Approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB)
- All student and school data is strictly confidential
- No identifying data shared outside the research team
How Does It Work?

Fill out our brief interest form. Our team will reach out with details and answer questions.
Onboarding & Randomization:
Participating schools are randomly assigned to receive the full program immediately or after an initial evaluation period (waitlist control). All schools eventually receive access.
Student & Staff Involvement:
Schools share study information and parental consent materials (provided), support brief student surveys, and enable access to the prevention curriculum.
No direct clinical activities required by school staff.
