About The Study

The Brain and Body Lab at UCLA is conducting an exciting new study investigating how gut bacteria might influence brain health in adolescents. This research could help us better understand how early biological factors, such as gut microbiome, impact mental and physical health. By exploring these connections, we aim to improve long-term well-being for children and teens.

What to expect:

Assessments and Samples: The study involves assessments at UCLA, including providing samples to examine gut bacteria, as well as answering surveys and undergoing evaluations.

‍Ongoing Participation: The study requires participation over several sessions, and participants will engage in research activities aimed at deepening scientific knowledge of adolescent development.
