A Clinical Research Study for Children and Teens with Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease

About the Study

The AVIATOR Study is evaluating an investigational drug for children and teens (ages 2-17) with moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis (UC) or Crohn’s Disease (CD). If your child has been struggling with moderate to severe symptoms and has not responded to other treatments, this study may be an option.

What is Ulcerative Colitis & Crohn's Disease?
UC and CD are types of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that affect the gastrointestinal tract, causing symptoms such as pain, bleeding, and digestive issues. Finding effective treatments is critical to improving the lives of those who suffer from these conditions.

Study Details:

  • Participants will receive an investigational study drug through an IV at three study visits.
  • Depending on their response, participants may be switched to a subcutaneous injection for the remainder of the study.
  • The study lasts up to 57 weeks, including 18 study visits.
  • Parents will track their child’s symptoms via an electronic diary.
